Dr. Elie Jean Pierre
THE HISTORY OF THE BEREAN FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST CHURCH
My name is Elie Jean-Pierre. I was born in Haiti, in a city called Limonade and raised in a family of nine. I went to school in the city of Cap-Haitian. I attended St-Antoine de Padoue Primary School for my elementary education until I received the Certificate of Primary studies (CEP) in 1959. In 1962, I started my secondary studies at the college named Oswald Durand where I spent two years. In 1965, I joined another High School, the Lycee Philippe Guerrier of Cap-Haitian, until I completed my studies in Philosophy in 1971.
In 1978 I attended Broward Community College and obtained my Associates degree in Education. I also studied at Florida International University in the History department. In 1987, I obtained my Bachelors degree in Theology from the South Florida Baptist Bible Institute after which I attended Bethany Baptist Theological Seminary, in Alabama where I worked for my Masters degree in Theology and received my diploma in 1994.
I attended Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary and obtained my doctorate, D. Min. in 1996. CurrentIy, I am a doctoral student at the International Theological Seminary located in Bradenton, Florida, working towards another P.HD in counselling.
